Established in 1931, these five cabins have been part of the Lake Superior shoreline and part of our family for nearly a century. Passed down through generations and cared for with intention, they remain a place where time slows and the lake sets the pace. Located on the shores of Lake Superior just outside Grand Marais, Minnesota, Elsie’s Lakeview Cabins offers a quiet North Shore getaway for couples, families, and travelers looking for historic lakefront cabins with direct water access. Each cabin has its own fire pit to gather around at the end of the day, with space for stories, laughter, and the kind of memories that stay with you long after you leave.
