Welcome to Elsie’s Lakeview Cabins, set along a quiet stretch of Lake Superior just outside Grand Marais, Minnesota.

For nearly a century, these five cabins have been part of the shoreline and part of our family. Established in 1931, they have been passed down through generations and cared for with intention, remaining a place where things feel quieter, and the rhythm of the lake naturally takes over. Evenings gather around the fire, mornings start with the sound of the water, and the kind of memories made here tend to stay with you long after you leave.

Located just outside Grand Marais on the North Shore of Lake Superior, each cabin offers direct shoreline access, full kitchens, and private outdoor space designed for a quiet, comfortable stay. Whether you’re here for a weekend or a longer stay, everything is built around spending time right on the water.
